This classic 1970’s house, located in a high fire prone area, was contemporised to create a true escape and antidote to city living.
To achieve this, whilst all external walls were retained, the entire living space was internally reconfigured, creating a modern ecosystem for the entertaining lifestyle the owners enjoyed.
The new open plan kitchen and entertaining area was the centrepiece, with an effortless flow out to a newly created outdoor alfresco entertaining area, swimming pool and spa, taking in the expansive surrounds.
We enlarged the existing double garage with a contemporary minimalist interpretation, to accommodate the owners’ unique collection of mid-century cars.
The final result brought many city centricities and seamlessly integrated these into a relaxed socially driven Northern Beaches escape.
