Situated at the end of a quiet leafy cul-de-sac, this original brick house has been transformed into a family heaven.
The design embraced the challenging topography the site offered, in transforming the existing 3-bedroom house into a resort style, seamlessly integrating with the surrounding Australian landscape.
Our design maintained the existing house, situated at the bottom end of the enormous site, almost intact, together with the addition of a delightful large open space at the rear encompassing all of the modern functional spaces expected in a modern home.
A great collaborative relationship with the client enabled the structure of the extension to be expressed true to the design, giving definition and scale to the larger space. The living spaces enjoy the interaction with the existing mature landscape and wildlife of the area.
