ALTERATION + ADDITION

BAL-FZ

This classic stand- alone 1970’s house,
in a fire prone area, was contemporised
and extended. Specifically it required
‘new space planning’ creating an effortless
flow throughout the main house, redesigning
the garage to accommodate a car collection
and a new alfresco area and pool. The design
created a light and airy open-plan kitchen,
dining and living spaces, all enjoying direct
views over the alfresco area and pool.

Testimonial

“We engaged Novam in 2012 to turn our
1980’s house into a contemporary living
space complete with four car garage. The

vision of Eyal and histeam was outstanding.

The living space and outdoorarea’s became
one cohesive space that are both beautiful
and practical. He turned our idea of a garage
into a stunning piece of architecture that
complemented the house and allowed us to
enjoy our classic cars in light and space.

Working with novam was truly a turnkey
solution – including all the pre-DA
submission work with Pittwater Council,
which removed all the obstacles that
most people normally hit and made it
much easier.

From the big picture to the smallest details
the ideas and imagination never stopped
flowing- even when we were delighted with
the proposal, Eyal would improve it again
and come up with new and innovative ways
to make the most of our home. And all the
time working to a budget which he was
alwaysconscious of.”
